Hello, it's been awhile since I posted a long post, luckily I have a new one. For this post, I will reveal some in depth concept about a character that have been in the works for a long time, Axachariyah.

BACKGROUND

William is a member of the Knights of the Order of Luminarium, a very elite group of skilled nobles that have sworn oath to serve and protect the royalty of the country. His father is the highest ranking member of the army, and he being an only, is destined to be next in line.

When his father died, he accepts his duties as his successor. Although he is only 19, he was favoured by many. But the day before his title is official, he was ambushed by an unknown group. He was grievously wounded, and he fell to the nearby river, bleeding profusely.

He managed to be saved down river by a a woman, a magi named Farawé. She quickly seared the wound shut using her fire magic, and bring him to safety.
When William recovered, 3 days have passed. A lot have changed in 3 days. His father's close friend is now the one holding the title of army commander, the King have died and now the king's younger brother is the new head of the Kingdom. And most of all, everyone think he died during the ambush.

With so much changing in 3 days and William being officially 'dead', he now goes under a new identity, Axachariyah, with the goal to find out what is exactly going on in his beloved country, in accordance to the Knights oath to protect the Kingdom and King, and oath he swore he will never broke.

APPEARANCE

He's a quite tough looking guy, though still young, with a messy short blonde hair (which he dyed black when he became Axachariyah).

His casual clothes consists of a leather jacket, and inner leather jacket (which is attached to that collar thingy), baggy long sleeved shirt and pants, some vambraces and some old boots.

Apologies for the quality of the scans...

In his armour, we can see he is wearing some basic armour components, though the platebody is a bit different from the norm.  Farawé designed it to make it more flexible and lighter. Also the collar is buttoned up real high and he wears his hood, which have some sort of ornament in the front and a plume in the back.

Front and back view, with some close up on the gauntlets.

PERSONALITY

He is a very quiet person, always follow orders, rules and guidelines. He is extremely patriotic, and believes chivalry, loyalty and the greater good (AKA the goody two shoes, the white knight, etc).

Though when he became Axachariyah and meddles more into the underworld, it affected his personality a bit, but he is still a good guy, and always defend his ideals.

ABILITIES

In the Kingdom he's in, magic is not widely accepted, and the nobles shunned it, so we won't see him throw fireballs and stuff. But he did have one, and fortunately, this particular magic is very easy to hide.

His magic is Magister Arma (Grandmaster of Arms), an ability to use any and every weapon with skills and speed that everyone can only dream of. And it doesn't even have to be a weapon. If he sees a spoon and recognizes it as a weapon, he can pretty much fight people with that spoon. And the ability also increase the durability of the weapon he currently wielding.

On the downside, if he somehow caught weapon-less, he's nothing more than a human with average combat skills.

PLOT

Not much will be revealed unfortunately, but I can tell you that involves a lot of individuals and groups that have links to what's happening in the Kingdom. And apparently Farawé is also involved one way or another.

The plot will  focus on Axachariyah's quest to find out why is his country changed so dramatically, and also about his first glimpse into the criminal underworld, where all his beliefs and ideals are stretched to the limits.

CONCLUSION

Well, that's what I have so far regarding this character. I might change/add more details as I write a a more complete story. Some people might think that the fantasy is close to non-existent in this plot, but I assure you this IS done within a fantasy setting. It might not scream MAGIC WARRIORS DRAGONS, but I assure you the fantasy will show.

I do have high hopes for this particular work of mine, but it's still far from finish in terms of plot and characters, and I hope I wont abandon it. So with that, thanks for your time, I appreciate every second of it, and if you do have comments, please, share with me. So see you again next time.

Clarke's Three Laws

  1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
  2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
  3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
